Transparency International's 2010 Global Corruption Barometer presents the main findings of a public opinion survey on corruption and bribery around the world, including New Zealand.
Corruption has increased over the last three years, say six out of 10 people around the world. One in four people report paying bribes in the last year. These are the findings of the 2010 Global Corruption Barometer.
The 2010 Barometer captures the experiences and views of more than 91,500 people in 86 countries and territories, making it the only world-wide public opinion survey on corruption.

The annual Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), first released in 1995, is the best known of TI’s tools. It has been widely credited with putting TI and the issue of corruption on the international policy agenda. The CPI reflects views from around the world, including those of experts who are living in the countries evaluated. |
