Consumer Data Right Public Lecture

Te Kauhanganui Tātai Ture―Faculty of Law at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, together with Privacy Foundation New Zealand, Payments NZ and the Banking and Financial Services Law Association are hosting a public lecture by Dr Scott Farrell “'Consumer Data Right—Legal foundations to uphold inclusion, choice, and confidence in digital and data economies.”.

Consumer Data Right (CDR) is a transformative initiative, to be implemented in the New Zealand banking sector, that may foster greater consumer choice and stimulate competitive innovation in the marketplace.

When: Thursday 3 August 2023 

Arrival time: from 5:45 pm 

Lecture and Q&A: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm 

Networking drinks: 7:00 pm-7:45 pm 

Where: Lecture Theatre One (GBLT1), Old Government Buildings, Victoria University, 55 Lambton Quay, Pipitea, Wellington.
